Abstract

Two sources of sea-level pressure data were used to develop a valid pressure field for wave hindcasting purposes. The fundamental information was supplied by Meteorology International Inc. on a 63 by 63 grid covering the Northern Hemisphere. Supplemental data were taken from National Weather Service synoptic surface charts.
