Abstract

Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is a common oculoplastic procedure used to remove excess tissue from the upper lids. This procedure can be used functionally to improve the superior visual field of a patient, or it can be performed cosmetically to enhance a patient's appearance. This chapter will discuss upper eyelid blepharoplasty, from preoperative assessment, surgical procedure, postoperative care, and potential complications involved.
