Abstract
By developing the δ-operator analog of the Roesser model, state-space realization of two- and multi-dimensional δ-systems is investigated. The corresponding notions of gramians and balanced realization are also defined. It is shown that, discrete-time system implementation using this model can yield superior coefficient sensitivity properties.
