Abstract

Wave data collected along a line of gauges from 36 m to 2 m depths are used to study transformation of a storm wave field. The equilibrium range form proposed by Kitaigorodskii et al is shown to fit the data. Spectral components on the forward face of the sprectrum are shown to have marked increases during onshore winds.
