Abstract

The authors propose a procedure for gastric analysis called gastroionogram (GIG), which is based on the systematic measurement of the acidity and the concentration of the principal ions of the gastric juice (H, Cl, Na and K). In the present report of the procedure, the method and the results obtained in a control group are detailed.
