Abstract

Reviews life history, taxonomic status, abundance, distribution and habitat, reproduction, feeding habits, scientific and economic importance, and literature. The geographic range is extended to the Mediterraean Sea and New Zealand. Alopias superciliosus is a wide-ranging, circumtropical species between the latitudinal limits of 40oN and 40oS.-from Authors
