Abstract

A thorough understanding of the surgical anatomy of the nose, paranasal sinuses, and surrounding skull base, orbital neurovascular structures is critical in order to avoid significant complications during transnasal endoscopic surgical procedures. This chapter will review this anatomy from an endoscopic standpoint, reviewing critical landmarks, and correlating anatomical structures with CT images. Embryological and anatomical variations in sinonasal anatomy will also be discussed.
