Spectroscopy in type i superconductors using magnetic impurity relaxation of Josephson-junction-Fiske modes

Abstract

A theoretical feasibility study into the possibility of using magnetic impurity relaxation of Fiske modes in Josephson junctions as a spectroscopic probe for type I superconductors is described. It is estimated that concentrations of less than 100 ppm magnetic impurities might be measured.
