Abstract

The texture, size, and vascularity of fibroids prior/subsequent to arterial embolization were assessed. Patients underwent pre/post embolization sonograms of uterus and adnexa. Uterine and fibroid sizes were documented as was pre/post embolization flow characteristics. Sonography was found to be essential both prior and subsequent to fibroid embolization.
