Small cell carcinomas of the endometrium are rare and carry an ominous prognosis. Most patients present with advanced disease. The histopathological diagnosis requires immunohlstochemistry confirmation and the tumor should be positive for a neuroendocrine marker. This article reports a new case and reviews the pertinent literature on the subject.
