Abstract

Recent research has provided data on activity rates, movements, home ranges, diel periods, food intake, digestion, growth, resting and routine metabolism. An adult lemon shark must remove nearly 1500g of fish daily (1.6 X 106 calories) to account for its vital activities. -from Sport Fishery Abstracts
