Abstract
The purpose of this brief review is to provide current information concerning molecular aspects of endocrine regulation of human breast cancer. This is a rapidly moving and complex field and, of necessity, we have been forced to be highly selective and to allow (hopefully, not too frequently) our own prejudices and paradigms to influence our selection. We will attempt to trace the course of hormone and antihormone into the cell to their eventual sites of interaction with specific genes.
