Abstract
Right ovarian vein aneurysm is a rare abnormality; we know of only 1 case previously described in the modern radiologic literature. We present the case of a patient after orthotopic liver transplantation because of hepatocellular carcinoma on a background of alcohol-induced liver cirrhosis who on post-transplantation color duplex sonography had findings that were interpreted as an inferior vena cava (IVC) pseudoaneurysm. The final diagnosis of a right ovarian vein aneurysm was made during surgical exploration.
