Abstract
It is likely that the ovetall inflammatory process directed against the biliary epithelium in the liver (the PSC) became uncontrollable with the activation of the genes controlling both B-cell signaling and proliferation, resulting in their transformation to a malignant T-cell clone. As a result, the case report by Ahmadpour and colleagues adds to the list of chronic liver diseases (primary biliary cirrhosis, autoimmune hepatitis) that can be associated with the development of MM.
