Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is twofold. The first section deals with the ventilatory problems of the premature infant and their therapy. The second section deals with preliminary results of a clinical trial of constant transcutaneous oxygen monitoring in the prevention of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).
