N2 - The relative viscosities, ηr's, of solutions of benzene, pyridine, and NaNO3 in N-methylpropionamide and apparent molal volumes, φv's, of benzene, pyridine, benzole acid, NaCl, KCl, NaBr, KBr, NaNO3, and sodium benzoate in N-methylpropionamide have been determined from 15 to 40°. The results are discussed by comparing the viscosity B coefficients, molal volumes, V̄0's, and molal expansibilities, Ē0's, for these solutes in water and N-methylproprionamide.
