Abstract

The impetus of this special issue of Industrial Marketing Management is the importance of relationship marketing in the effective functioning of marketing organizations. The objective of the special issue is to integrate the conceptual and empirical research in the area of business markets. The issue sought research that looked beyond the current thinking in business marketing.
