Propranolol and Hyperthyroidism: Reversal of Upper Motor Neuron Signs

Upper motor neuron signs of weakness, spasticity, and hyperreflexia are infrequent complications of hyperthyroidism. This article describes a patient with these signs, which improved dramatically and promptly after institution of propranolol hydrochloride therapy.
