Abstract
It is argued in J. Opt. Soc. Am. A. 33, 1385 (2016) that some of our previous results on the evolution of the polarization state of electromagnetic beams propagating in atmospheric turbulence are not valid and/or our work is not useful. We address such arguments and give clarifications.
