Abstract

During ODP Leg 166, 17 February-10 April 1996, JOIDES Resolution sailed from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Balboa Harbour, Panama. Drilling took place at sites 1003-1009. This Leg addressed two issues: causes and effects of eustatic sea level fluctuations; fluid flow processes in the margins of carbonate platforms. Two CD-ROMs included with the volume provide an electronic version of the report, along with additional log and core data. A foldout figure displays a summary of the litho-, bio-stratigraphic and petrophysical data from the transect across the western slope of the Great Bahama Bank into the Straits of Florida.
