Abstract

Primary linitis plastica carcinoma of the colon is rare; only 17 cases have been described in the literature. Through X rays, this entity appears more like an inflammatory lesion than a carcinoma. It is characterized by a long stenotic lesion without irritability. This report records 2 additional cases and reviews the pertinent clinical, x ray and pathologic features.
