Performance tolerance of single zone flat-top beam shapers

Abstract

A binary-phase element for shaping a Gaussian beam to a flat-top beam is presented. The analysis shows increased beam shaper fabrication tolerance which can be beneficial for low-cost prototyping and production of flat-top beam shapers.
