Abstract
We present a derivation of the modular parameters for the cylindrical worldsheet of the closed spinning string in the Ramond-Ramond sector. We then compute by path-integral methods the covariant off-shell configuration-space propagator. We show that the result, which we verify by operator methods, can be expressed entirely in terms of elliptic functions. Fermionic boundary terms in the string action play a crucial role in obtaining these results.
