Abstract
The parallel synthesis methods and high throughput characterization techniques for catalysts and phosphors library were reviewed based on the work of the author's research group. The contents include drop-on-demand ink-jet delivery technique, parallel solution combustion synthesis, thin film deposition combined with quarternary or in-situ physical mask, VUV phosphors library screening system, scanning spectroscopy system, IR thermography and synchrotron FT-IR spectral imaging. Finally, several examples of screening new materials via combinatorial method were demonstrated, such as sensitized phosphors VUV phosphors and some catalytic materials respondent to visible light.
