OVERVIEW OF PROGRESS IN APPLICATIONS OF STEEL FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE.

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

The past two decades of research worldwide involving steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) is referenced and used to provide insight into future development. An overview of current applications and production practices in the United States is classified and presented for comparison with the experience being reported in other parts of the world. Special applications technologies, including extrusion, high temperature (refractory) and lightweight matrix SFRC, are also discussed with emphasis on the developments in extrusion research.
