Multiple magnetic image reflection in perpendicular recording

The effect of the magnetic image reflection (MIR) on the recording consequences of a recording system was discussed. The magnetization patterns were also studied. It was found that the MIR is sensitive to the net magnetization in the region between the leading pole (LP) and soft underlayer (SUL).
