Abstract
There is evidence today of a trend among periodicals publishers to include non-print supplementary materials with some issues, usually to illustrate or complement a particular article. This article summarizes the results of a survey conducted among academic libraries to determine current management practices as applied to these multiformat periodicals, and makes some recommendations for providing adequate user access and improving bibliographic control.
