Mediastinal adenopathy in myeloma

Radiographic detection of intrathoracic lymphadenopathy in multiple myeloma is uncommon, buy may occur late in the course of the disease. Rarely, it may present a diagnostic problem and needle aspiration biopsy may be necessary for definitive diagnosis.
