N1 - Funding Information: Chronic fatigue syndrome is a disease whose exact cause is unknown. Its most common symptom is sustained or periodic fatigue which is dis-proportionate to thc patient's exertion and is incapacitating (I). Thc Ccntcr for Disease Control specifically defined chronic fatigue syndrome from a clinical standpoint as (1) new onset of chronic, debilitating fatigue that does not resolve with bed rest and reduces the person's activity level by more than 50% for a period of at least 6 months; and (2) the exclusion of a Tiffany M.
