The author describes a case of lymphocytic adenohypophysitis in a young, multiparous woman who had clinical features of a prolactinoma, otherwise normal pituitary function, and radiologic findings compatible with a pituitary adenoma. The diagnosis was established on examination of tissue removed at transsphenoidal hypophysectomy. This is the first description of the radiographic features of this disorder.
