Anomalous fishtail magnetization is studied on two single crystals of Tl2Ba2CuO6+δ with Tc = 92 K and 34 K. Fishtail magnetization is observed for both samples at low temperatures. For the high-Tc sample, the fishtail magnetization disappears above a characteristic temperature of 60 K. For the low-Tc sample, the fishtail magnetization remains near Tc. The results are inconsistent with the oxygen-deficiency model. On the other hand, it agrees qualitatively with the dimensional-crossover model for the anomalous fishtail magnetization.
