Abstract

Immunoperoxidase reaction for PSAP is a practical, sensitive, and specific test for the evaluation of the possible prostatic origin of otherwise unclassifiable primary or metastatic neoplasms. The specificity of antibody and sensitivity of technique, however, should be meticulously defined before the procedure is used for diagnostic purposes.
