Abstract

Three novel glyco-S-nitrosothiol NO donor compounds 1, 2, and 3 have been synthesized. These compounds outperform S-nitroso-N-acetylpenicillamine (SNAP) in aqueous solubility and stability, with and without EDTA and in the presence or absence of Cu2+.
