Sean Augustine recently received his Doctor of Science in Information Science and Communications from Robert Morris University, where his dissertation research focused on strategic business alliances in relationship to inter-organizational effectiveness and organizational behavior. Augustine has been working in the Big 4 consulting community for over ten years. For the past six years, Augustine has been working with the top technology and telecommunications organizations, advising corporate executives on enterprise application implementations as well as significant strategy and operations initiatives. Also, he has worked as a business analyst within Wall Street’s largest financial institutions, implementing strategic business plans within the securities lending area and with a large utility company focusing on business governance within the deregulated utility market (Department of Information Science, School of Information Systems and Communications, Nicholson Center – SCIS, Robert Morris University, 600 University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA, United States. Her research interests focus on interpersonal relationships in the workplace, trust (particularly trust repair), and leadership. Her research appears in a number of scholarly journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Leadership Quarterly . She has received an outstanding doctoral student paper award from the Southern Management Association, an outstanding reviewer award from the Western Academy of Management, an award for the best-published paper of 2004 from the International Association of Conflict Management, and a best paper award from the Conflict Management Division of the Academy of Management (Department of Management, School of Business Administration, University of Miami, 417 Jenkins Building, Coral Gables, FL 33124-9145, United States.
