Dopa and 5 S cysteinyldopa in malignant melanoma in Ugandan Africans

Abstract

Melanoma tissue from 4 out of 7 studied Ugandan African patients contained 5 S cysteinyldopa. The tumors with 5 S cysteinyldopa also contained free dopa but in smaller amounts. Dopa was in one case present in the absence of 5 S cysteinyldopa.
