Abstract

Literature supporting safe Warm Ischemia Time of 25–30 min to minimize renal function decline is outdated. The quality and quantity of preserved renal parenchyma is significant. The main focus of Nephron Sparing Surgery should be to achieve cancer control with minimal loss of renal function and not focus on ischemia time alone.
