Abstract
The application of cyclodextrin-capped palladium nanoparticles as catalysts for the Suzuki reaction was discussed. The Suzuki cross-coupling reactions between several aryl halides and phenylboronic acid were carried out. The analysis showed that cross-coupling reaction was favored by the electron withdrawing character of the para substituent in the aryl halide reactant.
