Abstract

In recent years, many new and useful products and techniques have been developed for the rejuvenation of facial skin. Our society is bombarded with images representing the "ideal of human beauty" in movies and magazines and on television. Skin plays a significant role in our perception of facial beauty, with skin texture signifying youth and vitality. However, aging is an inevitable process, and facial changes secondary to aging are the most apparent. The face is the focus of human interactions, and its appearance profoundly affects self-esteem.
