Abstract
The article discusses cracking of reinforced concrete (RC) structures in coastal zones where the aggressive action of salt-laden air is the primary cause of concrete deterioration. Case studies are presented, along with discussion of possible remedies including local demolition/reconstruction and epoxy injection.
