Coil design for adjustable magnetic stimulation

Abstract

The effect of magnetic stimulation to a great extent depends on the design of the coil system. We present the characteristics of a novel coil design for electromagnetic stimulation. Based on a mathematical model, we predict improved adjustability and focality than available from coils in clinical use.
