Abstract

Presentation of Case A 57-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of reddish-purple lesions on the right lower extremity. The patient had been well until the age of 38 years, when he felt a mass in the right inguinal region. Two years later the mass increased slightly in size, and warmth and erythema developed about it, with a rise in the temperature to 39.9 °C.
