Abstract
Presentation of Case A 28-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of lesions of the sacrum and ilium. She was well until three years earlier, when pain and numbness developed in the posterolateral left thigh and leg during the fifth month of her second pregnancy. The pain gradually worsened over the next three years and spread to involve the lumbosacral region and both buttocks.
