Abstract

As this report indicates it is possible to make a presumptive diagnosis of choledochal cyst on maternal sonography as early as 25 weeks gestation. Immediate neonatal confirmation using sonography and (99m)Tc PIPIDA scan is recommended so that correct treatment may be instituted at the earliest possible opportunity.
