Abstract

A study was performed on alkali ion-controlled excited-state ordering of acetophenones included in zeolites. The phenomenon of triplet-state switching in aryl alkyl ketones within zeolites was identified by changes in photophysical properties of acetophenones. Solid-state NMR measurements unequivocally suggested the existence of an interaction between alkali ions and acetophenone.
