Abstract
The 26th annual meeting of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) was held in Chicago, May 15-20, 1988. The meeting began with its first-ever categorical course, Spine and Cord Imaging, and continued with scientific sessions on a variety of topics ranging from new techniques in MR to advances in surgical neuroangiography. More than 200 oral presentations, 60 scientific exhibits, and a large technical exhibit section were featured. The following meeting highlights summarize a selection of the most up-to-date information available in neuroradiology as presented at this year's ASNR. Firsth authors of the presentations cited are listed in parentheses or brackets. Full abstracts start on page 1001 of this issue of the American Journal of Neuroradiology.
